AZ Territory Sales - Wholesale Food Service Equipment

Southern Ice Equipment Distributor, a wholesale foodservice equipment distributor has an immediate territory sales position open in our Phoenix AZ location. We are a privately owned company, headquartered in Lafayette LA, seeking a dynamic, positive, hardworking individual who's capable in developing additional channels for our nationally known foodservice equipment brands. Southern Ice is a stocking wholesale distributor covering 7 Southern States (LA/MS/AR/TX/OK/NM & AZ) that prides itself in cultivating long lasting relationships with our customers as well as freedom of choice to our staff. As noted, the sales territory is based in AZ covering an assigned existing territory and customers throughout the AZ market. Undergraduate degree is preferred but not required, equivalent work experience would be considered. If you're willing to make outside sales calls and take pride supporting a strong existing customer base while finding new business, we hope to hear from you!

As a Southern Ice Sales Representative, you will be responsible for contacting and developing wholesale market opportunities; building product awareness, as well as, offering continued support to established channels. You will research markets and trends, determine primary decision makers as well as make presentations to potential and existing customers, from national foodservice and hotel chain operators, independent school districts to general contractors as well as channels specific to developing product lines.

Successful sales reps have annual earnings potential of $70-90K+ (salary plus commission)

Successful candidates should possess:

-Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business and or Marketing BUT equivalent work experience will be considered acceptable

-Prior experience working in a cold calling B2B sales position where face to face customer interaction was essential to the success of account management and meeting sales goals

-Minimum of 2+ years commission based goal oriented sales quotas -Strong organizational, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

-Integrity, energy, motivation, and enthusiasm

-Proficient computer skills -Team oriented characteristics -Willing to travel (some over night travel will be required)

- Leadership skills -Ability to lift up to 30# packages

- Should have strong business references, available for interview
